Getahindus (M) Sdn Bhd commenced operations in 1988 during the peak of the latex boom. Since then, the company has earned the reputation as a reliable latex supplier of high quality. The company is fully committed in the field of high technology lattices and trade in solid natural rubbers. Our future plans include an ongoing program in search of new polymers derived from natural rubber latex.

The company has a team of highly charged and committed employees. The R&D department has a blend of young & vibrant chemists coupled with a senior expert whose combined experience total more than 50 years. The company is proactive and keeps abreast with the changing market needs and requirements. The protein allergy issue has motivated us into developing our range of low protein natural rubber lattices, namely low protein prevulcanised latex to low protein latex concentrate. Other lattices include those of low nitrosamine prevulcanised latex, full range of prevulcanised lattices with different module, alkalinity and low chemical residue. New products currently under development include zero protein latex, modified natural rubber polymer, depolymerised latex, Liquid natural rubber, rubber powder and many more in future. We have also developed supporting chemicals like powder free coagulant additive and polymers to improve donning of gloves. We also continue to meet the general needs of latex concentrate and other grades of rubber.

All manufacturing processes are in strict compliance with documented procedures in place. Our quality control protocol ensures that all products carry the trade name of LOPROTEX, G-TEX, GIVUL, GICOM, GIRUB and GAPOLY conform to specifications. As a team effort, all staff continues to maintain and improve our quality system since our certification as MS ISO 9002 manufacturer in 1995; this has been successfully upgraded to MS ISO 9001:2000 in 2001.
